By Air

As most of you are out of town, the best option is to fly. The closest airport is Syracuse (SYR). JetBlue Airline flies out of Long Beach, CA and will connect to NYC then to Syracuse. They also fly out of Boston to Syracuse via NYC.

Once you get to Syracuse, you will need to rent a car. The drive from Syracuse to Wellesley Island is about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the direction in the "By Car" Section.

By Car

From Syracuse to The Hart House (Reception) and Joey's (Rehearsal Dinner):

1. Take 81N until exit 51 towards Canada. Pay bridge toll $2.50 for passenger car before exit 51 (and notice the date displayed in plants!)
2. Take exit 51 towards Island Road/Island State Parks.
3. Turn Right onto County Route 191 (CR-191).
4. Turn Left onto Thousand Island Park Road.
5. Turn Right at CR100A/Thousand Island Park Road.
6. Turn Right at Thousand Island Park Road.
7. Turn Right at Club Road. (There is a huge sign for Joey's, that's where you turn!)

Joey's is at your right, and The Hart House is on your left.

From Syracuse to Wellesley Island State Park (Ceremony):

Follow directions above 1 to 3.
4. Turn Right onto Thousand Island Park Road.
5. Turn Right onto Cross Island Road.

Follow the road all the way through, and you will see the park entrance. If you decided to camp or stay in the cabins while you are up there, then stop by the park office to register your car and pick up the car pass.

Note: We are paying the entrance fee to the state park the day of the ceremony. At $7.00 per car rate, the cost can add up fast. Please be considerate and try to carpool from the Hart House.

From Syracuse to Alexandria Bay:

1. Take 81N to exit 50N towards Alexandria Bay.
2. Follow the road until you see Kinney Drugs.
3. Take a Left by Kinney Drugs and that will take you downtown.

From Syracuse to Clayton:

1. Take 81N to exit 50S towards Clayton.
2. Follow the road until you see a Auto garage on the left.
3. Take a Right into downtown Clayton.
